I married my high school sweetheart and best friend in 1993. My husband is Assistant Fire Marshall for the Sulphur Springs Fire Department where he has been employed for 23 years. We have three children: Garrett, Cole and Amy. My son Garrett graduated from North Hopkins High School in 2014 and has since graduated from the John Deere Tech School at Navarro College in Corsicana. My middle son, Cole, graduated from Cumby High School in 2017. He completed Fire In Texas Fire Academy and is now a state certified firefighter and is working on his EMT certification. He and his fiance, Carson, have a 2 year old son, Sawyer – my first grandchild! My youngest, Amy, gradauted North Hopkins High School as validictorian in May 2019 and is now attending the Honors College at Texas A&M Commerce. She is training to be a nurse and aspires to become a nurse practitioner. I am also proud to be aunt to three more Panthers….my nephews: Clay, Justin and Jesse. We have a lot of fun as a family and I cherish my time with them.
I love to quilt when my schedule permits. I also love to spend time with my grandson, Sawyer.
